Timberwolf’s strong display draws the crowds

Timberwolf used the Arb Show 2017 as an opportunity to showcase its full range of market-leading wood chippers, a move which proved highly successful with impressive numbers of visitors to the company’s stand at the heart of the show.

The striking show stand was a winner with existing and prospective customers with a display of the full range of professional wood chippers and wood shredders manufactured at the company’s Suffolk base.

There was something for everyone on the Timberwolf stand – road towable, tracked, PTO-driven and gravity fed chippers. Visitors were able to meet their local dealer as well as Timberwolf staff to help pinpoint the perfect wood chipping solution for their business.

Timberwolf Sales and Marketing Director Guy Marshlain commented: “We saw an outstanding response to our new TW 160PH and TW 280TFTR models, while the market-leading TW 230DHB, famous for its exceptional performance as a 6” wood chipper that is still below 750kg, always draws significant interest.”

For many visitors, it was the first opportunity to view the TW 160PH, an innovative entry-level wood chipper that is lightweight, manoeuvrable and simple to service, yet capable of serious work.

Replacing the sector-leading TW 125PH, this new machine has reversible blades and steel fan paddles plus an open top for easier feeding. Powered by a 22hp Honda petrol engine, the TW 160PH offers 152mm (6”) chipping performance yet weighs in at just 608kg for easy towing.

It’s the ideal machine for an arborist that is just getting in to the industry or for someone working mainly in Urban areas. Timberwolf predicts a great future for this chipper and for those that choose to purchase the TW 160PH after first seeing it at the Arb Show.
